Another Saturday. Another squish and shoot session. The Fujifilm X100T is still blowing my mind. Can’t get enough of it.

Time to clean the bike and camera, then get read for a little road rippin’ tomorrow. Haven’t done that in a while. I’m preparing for the pain by eating a burrito as I type. Cheers!

Can’t We All Get Along

When roadies and mountain rippers collide! It’s a good thing. I still don’t know where I play into the cycling title game. Maybe I don’t have to work with riding style titles. All I know is that I’m head over heals in love with the mountain right now. I’m sure the road will call my name again eventually, or even go hard with some CX. For now I’ll stick with mountain and enjoy the pain cave it puts me in.

What’s that? You want to geek out about cameras for a minute. Deal.

I’m falling deeply in love with the Fujifilm X100T. It’s a magical little soul capturing device that I’ve yet to play with until this weekend. As I’m researching more film shooters I want so desperately to pick up, like the Contax G2, I slowly fall back into the X series Fuji cameras that meet all my needs for a digital shooter.

So, why is that? Well first of all, I have a few and it’s easy to glide back into shooting Fuji’s X-Series cameras vs. spending the money to nab a new film killer. Fuji has style points for days mixed with functionality and most importantly… image quality is through the roof. They just feel great! When I borrow one or use the ones I have it’s like picking up an old friend that just feels good. I instantly feel energized to go exploring and sneakily capture the vibe no matter what setting I’m in. AND they’re great to ride with. A small powerhouse you won’t feel on your person when squishing through the hills.

With all that being said, I love film and I love Fuji X series cameras. Win | Win.

Here’s todays capture with the Fujifilm X100T. when roadies and mtn rippers come together to crush and heckle all over some Alabama hills. I hope you enjoy.

So completely pumped on the new PFELD black on black on black denim. Just got them in and can’t wait to put them through the paces. At first feel: light, full motion, smooth. Perfect Spring/Summer denim.

I’ll give you the full 411 in a few weeks. For now go check out PFELD. So. PUMPED!

Knog // Oi Bike Bell

So like… we’ve all been on the trail and come up on hikers only to scare them no matter how slow we approach and politely ask to pass. I have a feeling this little non-bell looking bell will help with that.

Pretty pumped on this design as well. Totally outside the box thinking from Knog with the Oi bell. And that name says it all!

Great stuff Knog!!

Enough Is Enough

I haven’t blogged in many moons, since Sept. ’16 to be exact. It’s time to change that and get back into the rhythm and what better way to do just that than with a squish and shoot session?!

Blevins Bicycle Co. recently picked up Specialized and will no doubt dominate this coming season with new BRAAPmobiles for your purchasing pleasure. Specialized came through with a solid demo day to check out their new steeds. Although I didn’t get the time to scope one out up close, I did get to capture Brice Johnston and Brandon Valenzuela rip through the hills.

I hope you enjoy. If’n yer a local, go check out Blevins Bicycle Co. for that new new squishy goodness.
